Cellars and distillery of Chartreuse

Centenary recipe

La Chartreuse is a liqueur made with about a hundred different plants, and was first distilled during the 17th century. Its recipe is well-kept by the monks of Chartreuse, who still produce this delicious beverage with medicinal virtues (to be drunk responsibly). During the visit of the world’s longest liqueur cellar, you’ll discover a few of the mysteries of its making before tasting it.
