Underground marvel

The Balme caves form one of the treasures of the Isère and the Alps. In this underground museum you can discover the marvels nature has sculpted through the millenniums: stalactites, stalagmites, basins, underground lakes, etc. The site is also known for its bats; it houses the biggest number of this mammal in the Rhône-Alpes.
